hi... okay here goes.....really is not the easiest thing in the world, talking about oneself but I do promise to make a valiant effort. Loyal to a fault, sensible and understanding. And romantic....did I mention romantic ? Basically I do love life and all it's got to offer.... which I suppose makes me a content person. That's good right ? My idea of unwinding is to occasionally catch up, curl up in bed with a good book and always bore my partner with stories and conversations. I love stories. Sigh ! Travel. Aha....yes I do love travelling but tragically haven't done as much as I would have liked to. My absolute favorite place is the forests of Zimbabwe till date. Go Figure. I did get to see a bit of Africa when I was working for the United Nations. That apart, the fact is that of late I frantically seem to be running towards the realm of doddering old fools and therefore want to travel extensively before my body parts give way. Mexico anyone ? Love the hills, the beaches...random drives and coffee. I have a zeal for learning and Love experimenting of course our definitions likely differs vastly. My last valiant attempt was to learn the Salsa. I do have a 10 yr old son who is very important to me...apple of the eye and all that. I believe that kids are the most important beings in a person's life Professionally I fly helicopters and find myself medically evacuating all and sundry as well as rescuing wandering souls. Oh well brownie points from god I suppose. I also part own a restaurant in Australia ¿¿ I am a focused person but my woman is my soul. Right, I am definitely rambling now. In an effort to maintain my tattered impression, I shall cease and desist here. Do give me a buzz. I am looking for my significant other, my best friend

Rupert Holmes released the Pina Colada Song in 1979 a year after I finished high school. I remember going to the famous Burbon and Beefsteak (restaurant and night club) in Kings Cross Sydney, late at night in the early 80s and ordering a Pina Colada drink to find out what it tasted like. It came in a huge cocktail glass the size of a breakfast bowl and cost $20 which was a lot in 80s but since it was about 4 normal drinks in volume, it wasn't too bad. Going to the Bourbon and Beef in the small hours to buy a Pina Colada or three became my tradition when a relationship ended. Listening to the Pina Colada song would bring a tear or two to my eyes wondering why that kind of love only seems to happen in movies and songs. Of course the story of the song never worked out for me. But the point it makes resonates. If you're like me and would like to have a soulmate who you can totally trust and can share every thought, feeling and life experience with, both good and bad. If you're sick of people taking advantage of your honest approach to relationships, and would like to be able to relax with someone knowing there's no risk of waking up one day to find a knife stuck in your back. Then I'd love to hear from you. If you like live music, say hi to me on the sound desk of the AC/DC and Angels tribute band “Thunderstruck”. About my photos. Seems everyone Photoshop's their photos on here. So yes mine are as well, except the one with the cartoon T shirt. That's me no tricks or edits, taken October 2023.
