I love long meandering drives going wherever they lead on weekends and enjoying new eateries along the way. A visit to the wine country and exploring little shops in lazy rural towns. Watching a sunset on a weekend evening while enjoying conversation and a dinner overlooking the water. With that in mind, I have a cabin in Villa Grande, (Google it), on the Russian River. It is 7 miles from Jenner and the Pacific Ocean as well as only a 15 minute drive away from dozens of wineries. I'm looking forward to sharing time at my cabin with my future mate. FYI, I enjoy visiting antique shops, museums, watching a play, street fairs, concerts in the park, movies, . . . as well as a quiet day at home. As a thrill seeking competitive gymnast, I also have experienced snow skiing, water skiing, white water rafting, kayaking, wind-surfing, racing "Sunfish" sail boats, racing "Hobie Cat" sailboats, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, rock climbing, spelunking, biking, hot-air ballooning, sky diving, bungee jumping, . . . to name a few. Unfortunately major surgery on my right knee in 2015 has slowed me down a bit. I injured it while tumbling as I was preparing for a performance. (. . . something I should not have been doing at age 55!). Some habits are hard to break! Besides playing lead Trumpet in two bands, (one band since 1985 and the other since 2006), I also have a 1930 Ford Model A that I enjoy attending events with. Yep, I have many interests and hobbies. FYI, I don't care much for watching team sports, yet will not complain if the women in my life wants to do so. I'm am a gentleman who is sensitive, kind, generous of heart, and optimistic in outlook. Even my Ex still calls me a "Boy Scout"! I'm NOT a "serial dater". I'm a monogamous "One Woman Only" kind of guy who is looking forward to finding "The One" so that I can get off of dating websites. At the risk of being boring, let me first mention that I received my BS degree from New York University in New York City, NY, and my MS and PhD degrees from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, majoring in engineering and mechanics. It is my belief that deeply heartfelt first impressions on both sides often lead toward a meaningful and everlasting relationship. Since I have never had the blessing of having my own kids, I long to go through the experience of raising our own children with my future wife.
